Our Mission and Approach to Community Management

Advantage Management, located in Skokie, Illinois, manages over 160 community associations in Chicago and the surrounding suburbs. The client-oriented, personal-touch approach is what separates the firm from others in this market.

Services are customized for individual properties so that boards can access any or all resources depending on their goals and financial needs. There is no single package every community is pushed into.

The team is available to listen to the needs, goals, and priorities of every board and every homeowner. That availability is the part clients mention most often when they describe why they stay.

The firm manages properties in accordance with the Illinois Condominium Property Act, the Common Interest Community Association Act, and the General Not For Profit Corporation Act. Boards get guidance on what each requires and coordination with association counsel when a question needs a legal answer.

Property managers participate in ongoing education through the Community Associations Institute, and all managers are required to hold active Illinois licenses. Continuing education is not optional here, it is a condition of the job.

Every community is assigned a manager who owns the relationship, supported by accounting, administrative, and maintenance coordination staff in the Skokie office.
